We invite you to enjoy the sun, the
sea, and the springs. Gaviota State Park has many traditionally
clothing-optional sanctuaries. These include two of its remote
beaches and its hot springs. It is well known for its
friendliness and its seagulls (Gaviota means seagull in Spanish).
These traditional nude-use areas are places where everyone can feel
comfortable, nude or clothed.
“Friends of Gaviota” (FoG) is a
non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the park’s
clothing-optional status by educating visitors and working with state
park officials.
